Barcelona first team coach Xavi Hernandez sent a strong message to new Barca coach Hans Flick after the start of the new season.
Barcelona announced that Flick would take over the coaching of the first football team at Barcelona, following the dismissal of Spanish coach Xavi Hernandez from coaching the team.
Xavi left the coaching of the Catalan club, after the statements he made, which caused great anger from Joan Laporta, the chairman of the Catalan club.
Xavi Hernandez, the former coach of Barcelona, stated that the situation within the Catalan club will not change and these matters must be clarified by the decision-maker, and Hans Flick must know that he will face an adverse economic situation.
Xavi added that if Hans Flick wants to succeed in Barcelona, he must first strengthen the midfield position and sign Real Sociedad and Spain national team star Martin Zubimendi because this player is the one who will give Barcelona’s squad the required balance.
Xavi added that without a clear pivot player, with all due respect to the young player Bernal, Barcelona will not be able to go far in the tournaments it will participate in. Xavi concluded that Hans Flick must find a strong alternative to the German goalkeeper Ter Stegen, who is not living his best times at Barcelona, and his mistakes have caused many disasters for Barcelona in the past seasons
