Wolves United fans are chatting out loud and clear after Manchester city controversial last minute equalizer.

England international Stones powered home Phil Foden’s delivery to send the away fans into raptures at the prospect of a 2-1 win – only for confusion to arrive and the Video Assistant Referee Stuart Attwell to get involved.

Initially, City players and coach Pep Guardiolawere furious that Kavanagh had disallowed the goal – something many in the stadium weren’t aware of as City players celebrated in front of the away support. Wolves boss Gary O’Neil could be seen shouting at Guardiola and his coaching staff “he’s offside, he’s offside.”

Indeed, according to the PGMOL, the assistant referee had in fact flagged for offside – in amongst the City celebrations. Thus, as that point, the goal had been overruled, much to the jubilation on the Wolves bench. But replays showed there were questions that needed to be answered over Bernardo Silva’s role in the goal.
