Without waiting… Flick gives Laporta a list of 6 players to get rid of in the summer

The Spanish club Barcelona announced the appointment of German Hansi Flick as the team’s technical director, succeeding coach Xavi Hernandez. Flick signed a contract with Barcelona until June 2026, according to what the club said in an official statement today, Wednesday.
Barcelona hopes that the German coach, who has a strong personality, will be able to restore Barcelona’s prestige again after a disappointing season in which the Catalan team left all the tournaments in which it participated.

According to what was reported from the German newspaper Bild, German coach Haaz Flick is determined to bring about a revolution within the squad. The German coach believes that 60% of the players are not worthy of defending Barcelona’s colors.
The newspaper reported that Flick wants to create a comprehensive structure within the ranks of the Catalan team so that he can implement his ideas, which will ultimately bring titles and successes to Barcelona.

The newspaper added that Flick gave Laporta a list of 6 players from Barcelona that he asked to offer for sale in the summer, and at the top of this list is the Spanish player Ferran Torres and his colleague Oriol Romeu.
The third name is the Portuguese player Joao Felix, as Flick believes that the player will not be able to keep up with the high-level playing style that he will follow with Barcelona. He will be joined by the Spanish Marcos Alonso, whose contract will expire at the end of the season.

The newspaper added that the fourth player on the list is the other Portuguese, Joao Cancelo, who did not enjoy the admiration of the German coach and will return again to Manchester City after the end of his loan.
The last name is defender Iñigo Martinez, who did not present his credentials with Barcelona, and Flick sees him as a weakness in the back line, in addition to his many injuries with the team.

The German newspaper concluded that Flick believes that getting rid of these elements and signing players with higher levels and abilities will provide Barcelona with a lot of balance and ultimately the ability to compete for titles.
