Iniesta advised Barcelona to act swiftly in the transfer market, suggesting the sale of Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong. Despite de Jong’s talent, Iniesta believes his performance does not align with Barcelona’s current goals, making his sale a viable option for the club.

Additionally, Iniesta recommended signing Paris Saint-Germain’s Fabian Ruiz, who impressed during the Euro 2024 Championship.
