‘Shouldn’t even be a starter’: Martin Odegaard causes fury with indecisive moment against Bournemouth
He had an inconsistent game.
Martin Odegaard had an inconsistent outing in Arsenal’s 2-1 loss to Bournemouth in the Premier League clash.
The Norwegian midfielder was pretty good in the first half, setting up Declan Rice’s goal and helping his side control things.
However, Odegaard lost his rhythm in the second half and was guilty of losing the mark on Evanilson for his goal.
The Norwegian midfielder also caused fan fury with a really strange moment in the second half against Bournemouth.
Odegaard received the ball just outside the box from Bukayo Saka and seemed to have a lot of room to shoot at goal.
Instead of taking the shot, he tried to shimmy and move past a defender – only to end up losing the ball and falling on his backside.
The Norwegian midfielder has made 41 appearances for the Gunners this season, scoring five goals and providing 11 assists in all competitions.
Bournemouth exposes Arsenal’s biggest vulnerability with TWO second half goals.
