Reports indicate Arsenal already have an agreement in place for highly-rated £66million centre forward this summer.
The Gunners quest for a prolific striker has reignited their interest in RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, with recent reports suggesting Arsenal are leading the race for the 21-year-old Slovenian.
Sesko, who has scored 20 goals in all competitions this season, including a stunning strike against Bayern Munich earlier this month has caught the attention of Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta.
His performances have left even Harry Kane in awe, reinforcing his status as one of Europe’s top young forwards.
The Gunners’ interest in Sesko dates back to last summer, when talks failed to advance due to Eddie Nketiah’s presence and Sesko’s decision to extend his Leipzig contract.
