According to the newspaper “Marca,” coach Carlo Ancelotti and his son, assistant Davide, disagree about including Turkish player Arda Güler in Real Madrid’s starting lineup for upcoming matches.
The newspaper indicated that Davide Ancelotti supports including the rising Turkish star in the team’s starting eleven and giving him a full opportunity to showcase his abilities, while his father opposes this and prefers to give him opportunities from the bench.
Ancelotti believes that Güler excels offensively but his defensive performance does not match that level, so the Italian coach prefers to use him for a few minutes to integrate him into the team.
The report added that Davide continues to pressure Ancelotti to allow the Turkish player to prove his quality and contribute to the team’s success this season, given his enormous potential and talent.
The newspaper concluded that Güler may not remain at Real Madrid next season if the current situation persists, as he has been performing much better with the Turkish national team, where he is given the freedom and confidence to showcase his abilities.
