Neither Coman nor Kimmich… Hansi Flick asks to sign a surprise star from Bayern Munich

Barcelona officials are considering signing a Bayern Munich player in the upcoming summer transfer window to bolster the Catalan team.

Barcelona is experiencing a great period under German coach Hansi Flick, and the Catalan team is leading the La Liga standings with 24 points from 9 matches. Barca is seeking to strengthen its ranks significantly in order to return to the podiums.
According to information from the Catalan newspaper Sport, Barcelona is targeting the signing of Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane on a free transfer after the end of his contract with the Bavarian club’s management next summer, as decided by Hansi Flick.

Barca is monitoring developments in the player market and trying to exploit available opportunities, while waiting to assess its financial situation for signing new players. Among these players is the German winger Sane, whom Flick prefers over Spanish player Ferran Torres.
Sane’s contract with Bayern expires next June, and while the player wants to renew his contract with the club’s management, his situation has not changed much.

His presence in the starting lineup has diminished since the signing of Michael Oliseh, which subsequently led to his exclusion from the German national team.
What reinforces the idea of Sane leaving Bayern is that he has not secured a place in the starting lineup, making the chances of his departure for free greater over time.

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick knows Sane well, as he previously worked with him at Bayern and was one of the key players for the Bavarian team, helping him win several titles at the Allianz Arena.
The newspaper concluded that Flick believes Leroy Sane will be an effective solution for Barcelona’s attack, especially in terms of skill and goal creation, which the team lacks on the left side.
