Lamine Yamal has returned to Barcelona after picking up a knock while on duty with the Spain team.
The teenager was met by reporters and offered a few words to El Chiringuito about how he’s feeling right now.
“Yes, I’m feeling better now,” he said. “Let’s recover and return as soon as possible.”
Yamal has undergone scans which have revealed no injury but simply an “overload.” However, he’s still returned to his club side as a precationary measure.
Barcelona will now want to be really careful with Yamal as the team heads into a crunch run of fixtures that includes clashes against Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
It remains to be seen if Yamal will be fit to play against Sevilla next time out, or if it will be decided to offer him further rest in a bid to be fit for the two massive matches.
