Half-time thoughts:
Two mistakes, two goals.
It’s been an incredibly even half of football in the Spanish capital, with Los Blancos just about edging it in terms of dominance.
Chances for the away side have been more frequent, with Bellingham even hitting the bar, but that’s not to take away from Simeone’s side, who have played super stuff at times.
Lino opened the scoring out of nowhere before the break after Rüdiger misguided header landed at his feet inside the box; Real Madrid equalised moments later when Oblak came flying out of his box… only to miss the ball and watch it bounce over his head into the goal.
Overall, a draw at the break is probably fair, and the team that makes the least number of mistakes will probably be the one who advances into the next round,
