Barcelona are planning to make several moves in the winter transfer market, particularly concerning the departure of some players.
A number of players are not entirely satisfied with their roles under Hansi Flick, which has led them to consider accepting offers to leave and join other clubs where they can secure more playing time. Among those who could leave are Gerard Martín, Héctor Fort, Ansumane Fati, Eric García, and Pablo Torre.
Another player whose situation could change is Pau Víctor, who was one of the standout discoveries during pre-season. No one expected him to perform so well and surprise everyone, earning a place in the first team despite initial expectations that he would stay with the reserve team.
Pau Víctor impressed significantly, even becoming the top scorer in La Liga last season, which led Barcelona to decide to keep him. However, there were doubts about whether he would remain under Flick or be loaned out to another club.
Despite these questions, Pau Víctor has shown his willingness to take on the role of Robert Lewandowski’s understudy, which led Barcelona to choose to keep him over Vitor Roque, who cost the club €60 million (including both fixed and variable fees), and sign for Real Betis.
However, despite all the expectations, Pau Víctor has not been given any opportunities under Flick. While his role was expected to be secondary, the lack of playing time has greatly upset him. He feels he is being treated unfairly and has made his dissatisfaction public, asking his agent to meet with the club’s management to try to resolve the issue.
If the situation continues as it is and Pau Víctor does not get more playing time, he will not hesitate to leave Barcelona in January and seek a new challenge at another club.
Fortunately for Pau Víctor, several clubs in La Liga have shown strong interest in him, putting him in a good position to make a move. Among the clubs interested are Valencia, Mallorca, Real Sociedad, Leganés, Valladolid, and Getafe.
