N’Golo Kante is apparently expected to be signed by Chelsea’s Premier League opponent West Ham United during the summer transfer window.
Last summer, Kante secured a free move from Stamford Bridge to Al-Ittihad in Saudi Pro League.
His results for France at Euro 2024 show he he can still compete at the elite level.
The Guardian claims, however, that the Hammers and Kante’s present companies are still in constant talks about a prospective relocation.
Al-Ittihad contracts the France midfielder till summer of 2026.
According to the paper, a deal for the 33-year-old would be completed with only under £20 million.
After Manchester City loanee Kalvin Phillips fell short of expectations last year, Kante becomes a primary focus for the Hammers.
