BREAKING: TRUMP SaysThat U.S.-Israeli War Against Iran Could Be Over “Very Soon”

U.S. President Donald Trump has suggested that the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran may soon come to an end, declaring that the war could be over “very soon” as military operations continue across the Middle East.

Speaking to reporters during a media briefing, Trump claimed that the joint U.S.–Israeli campaign has already achieved many of its objectives and significantly weakened Iran’s military capabilities. According to the president, allied forces have struck thousands of strategic targets since the conflict began, damaging key military infrastructure, missile facilities, and drone production sites.

Trump described the military operation as progressing faster than expected and said the war is now “very complete,” adding that American forces are far ahead of the original timeline set at the start of the campaign.

The conflict erupted after coordinated U.S. and Israeli strikes targeted critical Iranian military installations, sparking retaliatory missile and drone attacks from Iran against regional bases and allied territories. The escalating hostilities quickly spread across the region, raising fears of a wider Middle East war and sending global energy prices soaring.

Despite Trump’s optimistic tone, the fighting has not fully stopped. Iranian forces have continued launching retaliatory strikes while allied air operations remain active, suggesting that while the conflict may be nearing a turning point, it has not yet officially concluded.

Trump also emphasized that the United States would continue its military actions until Iran is “totally and decisively defeated,” indicating that further strikes could occur if necessary.

The president’s remarks come amid a rapidly shifting political and military landscape in Iran following the appointment of Mojtaba Khamenei as the country’s new Supreme Leader after the death of Ali Khamenei earlier in the conflict. The leadership transition has added another layer of uncertainty to an already volatile situation.

International observers say the coming days will be critical in determining whether the war truly winds down or escalates again. Diplomats across Europe and the Middle East are reportedly pushing for de-escalation, warning that any prolonged conflict could destabilize global security and economic markets.

For now, Trump’s statement that the war could end “very soon” has raised hopes of a possible conclusion to one of the most dramatic military confrontations in the region in recent years.
