One of the stars of Barcelona’s first football team will return to the lineup of German coach Hansi Flick against Real Mallorca in the upcoming La Liga match.
The match between Barcelona and Real Mallorca will be held tonight at the “Iberostar” Stadium, the home ground of the latter, as part of the nineteenth round of the Spanish League.
The Catalan team is aiming to regain the winning form that has been absent for the last three matches, in which the team failed to secure a victory in La Liga and came close to losing the top spot in the standings to their rival, Real Madrid.
According to information from the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, Marc Casado will return to Hansi Flick’s lineup against Real Mallorca, following his expulsion in the match against Celta Vigo and his absence from Barcelona’s last defeat to Las Palmas.
Reports have indicated that the Catalan team conceded four goals in the absence of their midfield star, two goals following his expulsion against Celta Vigo and two in the last match.
The newspaper also added that midfielder Gavi will return to the bench after Casado’s return, as Flick prefers Casado over Gavi, who had a very poor performance against Las Palmas in the last round. It is worth noting that the Spanish star has featured in 17 matches this season and has scored five goals.
