On top of them are Araujo and Gavi… Barcelona reveals the return date of all the team’s injured players

A number of Barcelona stars have been injured since the beginning of the current season, the latest of whom was German goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who was injured during the team’s match against Villarreal in the Spanish League. Ter Stegen underwent surgery due to a cut in the patellar tendon in his knee.

According to a report by the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, Barcelona is currently missing eight players, including Ter Stegen, Ronald Araujo, Dani Olmo, Gavi, Bernal, Andreas Christensen, Fermin Lopez and Frenkie de Jong.

The following are details about the expected dates for the return of the injured players:
1- Frenkie de Jong: He suffered a second-degree sprain in his right ankle in mid-August and is expected to return to play either in the Young Boys match in the Champions League on October 1 or against Deportivo Alaves in the Spanish League on October 6.

2- Gavi: Gavi has entered the final phase of his recovery, as he has started to do some training with the team. However, the technical and medical staff prefer not to rush his return, and it is expected that he will not participate until after the international break in October.

3- Ronald Araujo: It seems that Araujo may return sooner than expected. He suffered an injury while participating with the Uruguayan national team in the Copa America in July, and underwent surgery. Initially, it was thought that he would be out for four months, but he may return to the stadiums in November.

4- Andreas Christensen: His condition is a mystery, as he stopped playing in search of a final solution to recurring Achilles tendon pain. Initially, it was expected that he would be out for two months, but current indications suggest that his absence period may be longer.
5- Dani Olmo: He suffered an injury in the Girona match on September 15, and it was expected that he would be out for four to five weeks. It is expected that he will return to play either against Bayern Munich on October 23 or before the Clasico against Real Madrid on October 26.

6-Fermin Lopez: Lopez suffers from a muscle injury in the rectus femoris muscle, in addition to another injury in the leg and is expected to return after the international break in October.
7-Marc Bernal: Bernal suffers from an injury to his left knee, and is expected to be out for a year, which means he will not participate in the current season.

8-Ter Stegen: He suffered a serious injury in the Villarreal match, and initial tests revealed that he suffers from an injury to the patellar tendon in his right knee and is expected to be out for the rest of the season.
