Hansi Flick rules Barcelona star out of the team in the next transfer window

Barcelona is now leading the La Liga standings with 18 points out of 6 matches, achieving a full score, 4 points ahead of Real Madrid.
According to information from the Spanish newspaper El Nacional, coach Hansi Flick made a decisive decision regarding the future of Ferran Torres at Barcelona, after yesterday’s match against Getafe, in which Torres entered as a substitute but did not add anything.

Torres’ absence from the starting lineup surprised everyone, especially with Dani Olmo’s injury, as many expected Torres to get the chance to play, especially since he did not play in the previous match due to his expulsion against Girona.
However, Flick preferred to keep Torres on the bench, with a formation that includes Eric Garcia and Casado in the attacking positions, and trusted Rafinha and Lamine Yamal to cover the wings.

Although this plan did not achieve the desired results, the German coach continued not to rely on Torres, indicating his dissatisfaction with the player’s performance.
Flick has stressed on several occasions that he is ready to make difficult decisions to improve the team’s performance, making Ferran one of the victims of this approach and because the competition in the attacking line is strong, where young players, such as Lamine Yamal, have proven their ability to gain the coach’s confidence, while others, such as Rafinha, continue to shine.

Furthermore, Flick’s choice of Eric Garcia in the midfield instead of giving Torres a chance in a more attacking plan reflects his lack of belief in the winger’s ability to solve the team’s current problems.
This decision could negatively affect Torres’ future at the club, who could face his last days at Barcelona if things do not change radically.
