Barcelona FC is planning to make a new deal despite the closing of the summer transfer window in La Liga on Friday evening.
According to the Catalan newspaper “Sport”, Barcelona is now working on concluding a new agreement with the clothing company, which will enable the club to return to the 1:1 rule in front of the Financial Fair Play law.
The newspaper reported that in this case, Barcelona will move to sign a free player, in order to strengthen the squad of coach Hans Flick in order to strengthen the team’s ranks to continue competing in all tournaments.
The newspaper continued, that Barcelona has 3 vacant cards for the first team 12, 22 and 25, so it will move to sign a midfielder or a central defender.
It added that the names already on Barcelona’s table now are Adrien Rabiot, Mario Hermoso, Mats Hummels and Joel Matip, the former Liverpool defender.
Sport revealed that there are other names of players without a club this summer, but they are not on Barcelona’s table, such as: Anthony Martial, Memphis Depay, Andre Gomes, Ben Yedder, Iker Muniain, Raphinha, Pjanic, Sergio Ramos, Keylor Navas and Coquelin.
