An insight into the transfer plans to have been drawn up by the powers that be at La Liga giants Real Madrid for the coming 12 months has been forthcoming online.
The info comes courtesy of Marca, and points towards the Real brass as being far from ready to rest on their laurels.
After clinching the La Liga title last weekend, Carlo Ancelotti’s Real are of course now just a solitary victory away from a domestic and European double.
As much comes with Los Blancos having pieced together one of, if not the finest player-for-player squad across the entirety of the continent.
In turn, it should come as a source of concern for the rest of Europe’s top clubs to hear that, if Florentino Pérez and co. have their way, a further flood of talent will soon make its way through the doors at the Santiago Bernabéu.
As per the aforementioned Marca, this coming summer, Real have set their sights on no fewer than four arrivals.
One has already been secured, in the form of Endrick, with a 2nd, in Kylian Mbappé, set to follow suit in short order.
The capital giants are not finished there, though, with deals for defensive pair Leny Yoro and Alphonso Davies also on the agenda with a view to next season.
And, incredibly, plans for the summer of 2025 are already being put in place, too.
Work towards a deal for River Plate sensation Franco Mastantuono is underway, with the hope that the Argentine will make his way to Madrid in a little over 12 months’ time.
And joining Mastantuono atop Los Merengues’ wishlist for next summer is none other than Bayer Leverkusen sensation Florian Wirtz.
Youngster Wirtz has long caught the eye of the Bernabéu hierarchy, with his remarkable haul of 18 goals and 19 assists this season having only served in confirming Real’s stance that the German international is a superstar in the making.
‘It will be a tough and expensive operation in terms of wear and tear, but the goal for 2025-2026 is already on the table and it is Florian Wirtz’, Marca conclude.
