Possible Real Madrid Lineup for This Afternoon at El Sadar Against Osasuna

Carlo Ancelotti would bet on a team with clear convictions to secure the three points

Real Madrid is already ready to face Osasuna this Saturday at El Sadar stadium, a venue where much more than three points will be at stake.

Carlo Ancelotti has asked his footballers to forget about Manchester City and focus on the Navarrese team, as they won’t give any concessions.

“We are well, motivated. It’s an opportunity to keep maintaining the lead, which is our goal. It’s going to be a difficult match, but we came out well from the last game and we have to confirm it. It’s a match where everything good we did in the game against Manchester City we have to repeat. We have learned how important sacrifice is, we saw it at Etihad Stadium. We have shown it in an important match. Obviously, we need continuity and tomorrow is going to be a very important test in this regard,” expressed the Italian coach in a press conference.

Two New Developments

Carlo Ancelotti won’t opt for many rotations, despite next Wednesday being the ‘final’ against Manchester City at Santiago Bernabéu stadium.

Fran García and Luka Modric will be the major new additions to the Madrid line-up  to face Osasuna at El Sadar.

The Spanish full-back and the Balkan midfielder will take the places of Ferland Mendy and Dani Ceballos, who were starters against Manchester City at Etihad Stadium in the UEFA Champions League.

The rest of the players will be the same ones who started against Pep Guardiola’s team, which demonstrates the importance of this league matchday.

No Rest for Mbappé and Valverde

Those who don’t rest are Kylian Mbappé and Fede Valverde, as the schedule is relentless and every match is a final.

“I think Valverde will continue in this position until Lucas Vázquez returns. Valverde in this position, as in another, contributes a lot. I liked his match against City and he likes playing in that position. Tomorrow we will continue with him,” Ancelotti indicated about the Uruguayan.

Possible Real Madrid line-up

Thibaut Courtois, Fede Valverde, Raúl Asencio, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Fran García, Luka Modric, Eduardo Camavinga, Jude Bellingham; Rodrygo Goes, Kylian Mbappé, and Vinícius Jr.
