Jonathan David, linked with Barcelona, says it’s 50-50 whether he stays at Lille

‘The door is not closed’

Canadian forward Jonathan David, whose contract with LOSC Lille is expiring at the end of the season, has publicly stated that it’s equally likely whether he stays at his current club or looks for a big move.

FC Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur, and Bayern Munich are all said to be interested in the services of the striker.

“As the president has said on numerous occasions, negotiations are happenings. We are talking, but no decision has been made. We continue to talk and the door is never closed. It’s 50-50,” David said.

The 24-year-old has been doing very well in Ligue 1, where he continues banging in goals and has been called Lille’s player of the season.
