Andreas Christensen returns to Barcelona training ahead of Las Palmas clash and with future uncertain

Andreas Christensen was back in full training with Barcelona on Thursday ahead of Saturday’s La Liga clash with Las Palmas.

The Dane is enduring a tough season in Catalunya and suffered a fresh setback in January when a leg injury forced him back onto the sidelines.

Christensen had already missed the first four months of the season with Achilles trouble but is now working again with his team-mates.

The 28-year-old will be desperately hoping he can stay fit and make some kind of impact between now and the end of the season.

His injury problems means he seems to have slipped down the pecking order, and there’s growing speculation he could move on in the summer.

Barcelona are expected to bring in Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen on a free transfer, meaning some exits will be needed to make room.

Christensen and Eric Garcia appear to be top of the list, although the Catalan has grown in prominence with Flick as the season has progressed.
